We understand that you’ve been waiting a long time for our products to come back in stock. Firstly, our team greatly appreciates your patience and continued enthusiasm for SnapPads. Secondly, we wanted to let you know that we’ve been hard at work getting new manufacturing up and running for now and the future.
What We’re Working On
SnapPads have grown leaps and bounds in the last couple of years. We went from selling a couple of packs a day not too long ago to selling pallets of pads. There are a lot of challenges that come with very rapid growth at the best of times, but this year the pandemic made things extra complicated for us. Not only did COVID lower our existing manufacturer’s capacity, but it made it much more difficult to find, meet, and onboard new manufacturing partners.
As we speak, we’ve reached out to multiple new manufacturers to make all of our current product lines, including our new product lines for Travel Trailers and Truck Campers. But this takes time. The tools we use to compress recycled rubber into SnapPads are large, finely engineered stainless steel cavities. They take months to make and refine and must be customized to each new manufacturer. Then, any new pads must pass our stringent quality control and testing before they can be sold to the public.
On top of making more pads at a much quicker pace, we’re also working on securing faster, more efficient shipping processes. Our focus will be on securing a warehousing and shipping partner who can guarantee 2-day shipping moving forward.
Expected Timelines
Our plan is to have stock available on our site before the end of the year. We’re pushing for October - November, ideally, but it will depend on the performance of our new tools and partners, which can be highly variable. Just know that we are working as quickly as possible to get pads available to the public again, and will take every measure to streamline the process.
