New hiway snapPadsjust insta
Just installed them today then used them to level in the place of storage. They gave me a bigger footprint I think this will help. Trip to come soon!
I received my Hwy 4 pack 8" & 10" about 6 weeks a ago but believe it or not the panhandle has been to cold to install them. Finally got a chance yesterday, I can not crawl under the coach any more so the wife had to line them up and clean the levels while I handled the controls we communicated via phone. She is not real mechanical but the process went real well. This is a must have product if you own a class A motorhome. They also increase your footprint which increases your stability. Since we live aboard this is a good thing.
The good, the bad & the ugly ...
1st the good: there was NO ugly. 2nd, the bad: I made a mistake; ordered 9 in. pads (qty 4); measured the front pads & eye-balled the rear pads (10 in. of course). Barbara in customer service was EXTRAORDINARILY helpful. She did everything possible to help me exchange the 9 in. pads for the 10 in. pads. No shipping charge to return the 9 in. pads. Now more good: the pads were easy to install, work as expected, and I look forward to using them on different surfaces.
Good product, easy install, however I was a little surprised to be charged a $2.99 foreign transaction fee. The website indicates that product is made in USA and shipped from USA, and no mention of a foreign transaction fee.
Hi Clint. Although all of SnapPad's products are made, sold, and shipped in the US, our head office is headquartered in Alberta, Canada (where the company's founders currently live.) Because of this, some US banks impose a foreign transaction fee on their credit cards. Unfortunately, this is a bank policy and something we don't currently have control over. Thanks for the feedback :)
Great Idea, but...
I ordered the suggested "Tiffin Set" and while the front worked fine, the back were too small. I was sent 10" pads, but my coach has 11" pads on the rear. After calling SnapPad, I was told that the 11" were not available yet and I would have to wait for at least 2 months.
Hi Donovan. We apologize for the confusion. When making the HWH compatible pads we initially had to make a choice between the various different sizes they offer. Our current pads cover a lot of the available systems out there, but not all of them. We hope to add the larger 11-12" sized pads for HWH this year, however. Thanks for your patience.
