The 8 Big Benefits of RV SnapPads

Here at SnapPad we know there are plenty of jack pad alternatives. Blocks of wood, inexpensive plastic jack pads, rubber mats, etc. Heck, you can even cut your own horse stall mat and add twine for a handle.

We agree those are excellent options, however we think SnapPads offer some benefits none of the options bring to your RV.

Based on our design and feedback from satisfied SnapPadders, here are the 8 main benefits SnapPad owners enjoy:

1. Permanent

SnapPads take just a matter of minutes to install and they stay on for good! This removes the hassle of having to place, retrieve, and store dirty jack pads each and every time you set-up or move.

Permanent pads not only frees up storage space and save time, but they remove the pain and risk of injury which comes from having to awkwardly crawl underneath your RV over and over again.

When we have asked SnapPadders what they like about their SnapPads, the permanent solution is always at the top of their list.

"I've had shoulder issues for 20 years. On vacation this summer, I dislocated it twice while setting up the RV in Maine. My wife said "enough, you're getting that fixed". If only I had snap pads then! I would've saved myself hundreds on a surgery!" - Jeff Zylstra - iRV2 member since January 2015.

2. Stability

SnapPads add stability to your rig in 3 ways.

First, they increase your jack's surface area by 61% for Xtra (9" jacks) or 326% for Prime (10" jacks).

Second, the American recycled rubber grips and conforms to uneven surfaces.

Third, that same rubber isn't completely rigid, so it helps to dampen vibrations you generate as you move around your RV.

3. Protection

You love traveling and seeing new places. Excellent! SnapPads take the punishment from the gravel, earth, asphalt, concrete and road debris that your landing feet encounter as you travel. They keep the original protective coating intact giving your jacks a longer life.

4. Durability

SnapPads will last for a long time - truthfully we are still a young company and have not found the lifespan of a set of SnapPads yet.

What we can tell you is they are made with recycled tire crumb, high strength resin, and a 100+ ton press. They are resistant to UV exposure, water, heat, oil, tar, mud, and any other environmental hazard. Your SnapPads have no melting point and will last for many years.

Of course, all purchases come with a 2-year warranty. That means, should your SnapPads fail or not work for any reason, we will replace them free of charge or you can send them back for a full refund.

5. Customer Service

We know customers are the life blood of a business. We are a small, family-based company and have the flexibility to make big decisions quickly. Everyone you talk to is an owner and therefore cares - a lot. We will always get back back to you, answer your questions or rectify any issues ASAP.

"This company service is awesome. They stand by there product. Had a problem with one and they replaced it no questions asked. Wish all companies stood by their product like this co. Recommend this product to all."

6. Good For America

SnapPads are American made & environmentally friendly.

That's right, it may cost a little bit more but we employ Americans, use American recycled rubber, manufacture and ship from Indiana*, but we think it's worth it. Literally nothing is outsourced to overseas companies.

In addition, the primary material in our product is rubber from recycled tires, which keeps old tires from cluttering up land fills and damaging the environment.

*(full disclosure our corporate office is in Western Canada, so some wages go to your neighbors to the North).

7. Electrical Insulator

In the highly unlikely event of a lightening strike close to your RV, your RV SnapPads will insulate your electronics from the surge that could travel from the ground up through your jacks.

This would be very dangerous for the occupants and could damage your on-board electronics. What about grounding? In the same way your car or truck electronics are grounded via your chassis your RV will remain grounded even with SnapPad installed. Its the best of both worlds.

8. They look good

Last but not least, SnapPads complete the look of your RV. Think of them as shoes for your rig! You've spent a lot of your hard-earned money on this asset, so why not protect it and make it look better? As John mentioned on April 1st "Do you wear shoes? So why shouldn't your camper?"

These 8 reasons outline the main benefits of adding SnapPad to your camping experience. The SnapPad family will always bend over backwards to make sure you're taken care of.

Of course, you don't have to take it from us. Feel free to read the numerous reviews on both our product pages and related Amazon pages below.
